On March 18, 2020 President Trump signed the Families First Coronavirus Response Act (FFCRA or Act.) The Act requires certain employers to provide their employees with expanded family and medical leave for specified reasons related to COVID-19.
These provisions will take effect on April 1, 2020 and continue through December 31, 2020.
Yesterday, the Department of Labor issued the attached Mandatory Notice for FFCRA. Each covered employer is required to post it in conspicuous places where they are easily visible to all employees.
